Yup, we squeeze in our exercise the same way. A lot of my vigorous bouts are done in five minutes or less, a period easily tacked on or tucked into whatever else is going on.
I usually jog or use hand weights for my quick sessions. My miles accumulate rapidly this way and I still get my essential chores done.
For example, heating a cup of water in my old microwave takes about 2.5 minutes. I usually jog in place on the kitchen mat while it's heating for my tea.
