Your article and many of the relies resonate with me. I never notice my injuries, they are often pointed out to me by my husband. I dislike noise or flashing lights. At 81, I am not planning on being tested, I have lived with my many quirks, stopped trying to fit in, and have accepted myself as is even if others cannot.
