You executed your separation and eventual divorce in a smart manner. It's not easy to do that, many fail and are murdered or injuries. You also had wonderful friends, another key component of your escape.

On a lighter side, I adore Columbo and the Rex Stout mysteries. There are other detectives from that earlier era I loved and enjoyed reading or watching.
