Rats always gather when bird feeders are put up. We deal with a few all the time. I try to keep the area under the feeders cleaned up every evening to discourage them. They do not breed if there isn’t an adequate food supply nearby and my goal is to ensure there isn’t one.

We left our condo years ago because of the restrictions and silly rules of the HOA.
