OMG, donating your wardrobe had to be a traumatic event. It signaled the end of a part of your life.

For many items in my life, I enjoy parting with them, especially if they will be loved or used by someone else and not just tossed into the trash.

My professional clothes were not as expensive as yours, but removing them from my life was both liberating and sad. No more rushing to battle traffic or catch an early flight. Now I was retired and in need of establishing new routines.
