My birds observe a time schedule. They put themselves to bed around 4 pm, flying into their large flight cage. Occasionally, I need to collect a bird who has fallen asleep outside the cage, usually an older bird who exhausted himself.

They also know when to expect me in the morning and when I return after my dinner to check on them and turn off all lights. If I am late, they start screaming for me. Once they hear my voice or see me, they are quiet.
