Morning glories were one of my mom’s favorite flowers. I don't recall squirrels eating them but that may have been because there were tastier plants available.

My main plant eaters are groundhogs. After two years of watching what they eat and what they ignore, I am slowly changing my gardens to plants they find less desirable.

I admit I love to see the fat creatures reach up to pull a flower down, hold it between their front feet, and nibble.
