I'm not offering any opinions on the inner workings of this platform. To me, writing on Medium is a fun hobby and a welcoming place to chat with other writers, especially you, Mitch.

I will miss writers I enjoy who have departed or are planning on leaving for Substack. I don't have the bandwidth or desire to explore another platform. Medium is than enough for me.
