I'm driving at 83. The stores or public buildings I need are not within reasonable walking distance, especially when many of our streets lack sidewalks (my street is a shortcut speedway with no sidewalks).

We have limited public transportation -some buses but the bus stop is a mile away and it offers no shelter.

Grocery delivery is not offered by local markets, although my pet supply store will deliver.

At this time, driving is our most convenient means to get where we need to go.
