I'm an outlier in my view of Medium being my goal is connecting to other writers, and writing about what interests me, and thrilled if I earn my monthly dues (now vastly increased). Perhaps being an old woman, comfortably retired, influences my views and priorities. Writing is a hobby for me, not a source of income which is fortunate because my stories would never support me.
