I'm 83 and I don't understand the fuss about adding another year to your already decades. I have a friend who becomes depressed when her birthday rolls around. Another friend goes all out with a huge celebration -food, cake, and people of all ages invited. I'm in the camp it's a celebration, you are still with us.
