I try not to rely on technology for everything. I try to force myself to handle things without it and only resorting it its use when my brain fails me.

This morning I couldn't recall where I put down my iPhone before I went to bed. My Apple watch could have found it but I made myself mentally retrace what I did in the hour before bed. And there it was, by the sink where I had placed my before-bed snack dishes to soak.
