I don't have the words that convey the sadness mixed with the admiration I have for your grandmother.

Most of us loved our grandmothers but they did not endure what your grandmother endured to attain her dream. Yes, some of our elders grew up in poverty, but they were not forced to stifle their speech and labor in fields. They had an easy life in comparison.
