I checked out MW Mercer's method for memorizing, and I shall give this a try. Knowing just a phrase or a couple of line is never satisfying and forces me to look up the poem for a reread. Of course, being forced to search for a poem often leads to other reading pleasures. I will return for your mom's tips on houseplants, as I can always learn something new for the care of the dozens of plants in our house.
