I am part of the older generation (81) that has contributed, participated, created, caused, and ignored the damage to our planet we did (and continue to do) with our way of life. We were ignorant for far too many years, and once we knew what we were doing, we procrastinated, pushing changes off to the future. I am saddened, alarmed, and wish we humans were smarter, but we appear to value power and money more than our planet.
