I am and have been a follower of For Better or Worse for years. It is relatable and you do care about the people and their pets in this comic strip.
When I flip open the pages of the Boston Globe every morning, For Better or Worse is where I go first.
I knew Farley was doomed in the days leading up to his death. He was old but he performed a heroic deed for his beloved family, saving April from drowning, which led to his death. It was a timely and heartfelt way for Farley to leave his family. They and we grieved.
Edgar, his offspring, will grow up with April, and delight as as the years pass.
