I am a childless senior woman with a husband diagnosed with dementia. Aside from a niece and nephew, who have their parents to worry about, there is no family support to rely on. I have all the legal documents in place for my own care and eventual death, and will likely need to pay for care if I become disabled or unable to manage my affairs.
