During the early 70s, I lived in Aspen CO supporting myself as a hotel maid. Drugs were rampant. Every party included food laced with weed or various capsules along with the booze. I never participated because I have always been leery of ingesting mind-altering substances. It was not a place for me to stay or flourish.
