Diane, I can relate to your story. We are in my Husband’s 4th year of dementia and invitations and visitors have become nonexistent. We are, of course, invited to large family gatherings and then ignored.

I understand. My husband can be sweet or an asshole. His ego is quickly bruised and he becomes defensive over nothing. Because he forgets he recreates his and our history, telling stories that have no basis in reality. His tall tales are annoying to his family.
