At 83, with thin easily bruised skin, I think acquiring a tattoo is not a good idea. I do love the idea of a small one on a shoulder, wrist, or ankle.

My great niece, an ER nurse sports a full sleeve, eyebrow, and nose rings. I have difficulty finding face decorations attractive. I suspect my aversion is a hangover from my mom labeling women with pierced ears slutty. Despite her disapproval, I pierced mine.
